The cast is currently busy filming series 12 of Call The Midwife.
Call The Midwife fans will be thrilled to know a fan favourite is returning for series 12.
The cast is currently filming the pending season and a familiar face has returned to Poplar. Actress Helen George is back on the set after her maternity leave.
She left the show during series 11 to give birth to her second child.
The actress, who plays Nurse Trixie, welcomed a daughter called Lark in November 2021.
The Call The Midwife team posted a photo of Helen on the set this week.

Series 12 of Call The Midwife doesn't air until next year, but we do have this year's Christmas Special to look forward to.
