The Britain’s Got Talent final has been moved for a good reason

The Britain's Got Talent final was due to take place this Sunday but it's been moved to make room in the TV schedule for Ariana Grande's concert in Manchester.

Ariana confirmed earlier this week that she would be back in Manchester this Sunday for a benefit concert, One Love Manchester, in aid of the families of the victims of the recent attack.

The final of the TV show has therefore been moved from its Sunday slot and will now take place on Saturday, June 3 at 7.30pm. An ITV spokesperson told Digital Spy:

 "Ariana Grande's 'One Love Manchester' benefit concert is bringing artists and the public together, and will raise funds for the Red Cross's Manchester Emergency Fund. ITV and Britain's Got Talent have no desire to distract from this important cause, so we have taken the decision to move the Britain's Got Talent Final from Sunday night."
