There’s Some More Major ‘Pitch Perfect’ News This Week

Too exciting! We are still recovering from the brilliance that was Pitch Perfect 2 and, after it was confirmed last week that Pitch Perfect 3 is in the works we couldn’t contain our excitement. In fact, there’s been some more good news on that front as it was announced this week that the film is definitely happening and will be hitting our screens in July 2017. Universal has reportedly set the release date for July 21^st of that year, with both Anna Kendrick and Rebel Wilson said to be confirmed for the sequel. Hailee Steinfeld is said to be rejoining the cast and the new film will be penned by Kay Cannon once more, though it’s unsure whether Elizabeth Banks will direct it or not. https://youtu.be/6bh4mvJ5jUg Pitch Perfect first hit our screens back in 2012 and became an instant hit, with people the world over joining acapella groups and learning the famous Cup song. The second film, which was released earlier this year, has proven to be yet another major success and we can't wait to see what they'll bring to the table in movie number three!
