There’s not long to go until the final season of Suits premieres (in the United States) and, honestly, we couldn’t be more excited.
Especially after the latest trailer, which has given fans the first look at the return of Patrick J. Adams’ Mike Ross.
According to Deadline, Mike’s return will see him go toe-to-toe with Harvey Spector and Samantha Wheeler as part of a new case.
The new trailer, which launched on Monday, shows the first (verrrrry brief) look at Adams’ return.

Adams, who left the show alongside Meghan Markle at the end of season seven, announced his return to Suits in June.
Taking to Instagram, he said:
“Go time. Very excited to head back into the fray one last time. Thanks to the fans for keeping the flame alive and to Mr.Aaron Korsh for welcoming me back.”
While the official Suits Instagram page wrote: “It ain’t over till it’s over. Patrick J. Adams is returning as a guest star for the final season of #Suits!”

The series first launched in 2011, with hotshot lawyer Harvey Specter taking a gamble and hiring Mike Ross – an incredibly smart but not totally legitimate college dropout – as an associate at his firm.
Mike ended up quickly impressing the rest of his colleagues – including Jessica Pearson, Louis Litt, and Donna Paulsen – and fell in love with the law firm’s best paralegal, Rachel Zane.

And while a lot has changed over the years, the show still centres around an evolved firm led by Harvey, Louis, secretary-turned-COO Donna.
The firm continues to tackle top corporate cases with the support of the formidable Alex Williams, undeniably talented Katrina Bennett, and new addition to the team, powerhouse attorney Samantha Wheeler.
