This is like birthday, Christmas and Chinese New Year rolled into one!
If you haven’t watched the Netflix original series Stranger Things yet, then I highly recommend that you do. The show is the sure fire summer hit of the year. It’s got it all! A creepy 80’s synth soundtrack, intriguing plot line and Winona Ryder relinquishing her Girl Interrupted vibe.
One of the many standouts of this incredible show is the character Eleven, played by Spanish-born British actress Millie Bobby Brown. Eleven is a product of her superficial surroundings. Born in a covert governmental laboratory, she barely knows how to speak but is a gifted telepath.
We love seeing the stars of our favourite TV shows outside of their day jobs. Especially when they can sing. And BOY can Millie sing. In her latest video, Millie tackles the classic Amy Winehouse “You know that I’m No Good’, which is a tough tune to crack even for the most accomplished of singers.
At the tender age of 12 Millie confidently belts out the iconic tune and it’s made us admire the little lady all the more. She’s clearly a passionate singer and her posts date back to year ago when she had a full head of hair, pre Stranger Things. You can actually chart the progression of Millie’s career from these vids based on her haircuts. It’s also the only thing that we fans can grasp at while we patiently wait to hear of the show will get a second season.
