The nominations for the 2017 Golden Globe have been announced

We have three Irish nominations so far.

The nominations for the 2017 Golden Gloves have been revealed. Actors such as Bryan Cranston and Tom Hiddleston are among those nominated for best actor in a TV movie or mini-series, while Blackish and Veep are up for Best TV Series Comedy.

We’re delighted to see Stranger Things and Game of Thrones getting nominations in the Best TV Series category, along with Irish actors Colin Farrell, Ruth Negga and Catriona Balfe who have all received nominations.

We already know one winner on the night which will be Meryl Streep, who will be honoured with the Cecil B. DeMille Award for lifetime achievement in the film industry.
