Love Island 2019 is coming to an end in just a few days.
And after seeing the baby challenge and all of the final dates play out on-screen the last few days, there’s just one thing left to do before the final.
Yes, that’s right: it’s time for the family reunions.
The preview at the end of Friday night’s episode showed the tearful reunions had already taken place, with The Sun revealing just who went in to see the Islanders.
A Love Island insider told the publication there was “lots of tears” as the family reunions took place.
“After eight weeks for some members of the cast, seeing their families was overwhelming,” they added.
Molly-Mae Hague is said to have received a visit from her sister and her mum; and Tommy Fury’s mum and brother headed into the villa.
Although sorry, boxing fans – Tyson Fury has reportedly turned down appearing in the villa, so it’s more likely to be Tommy’s other brother.
Anton Danyluk got a visit from his mum, while Belle Hassan was joined by her father Tamer and mum Karen.
Amber Gill’s mum and dad joined her in the villa – although it wasn’t mentioned which friends and family paid a visit to her partner, Greg O’Shea.
And it looks like fans will have to wait until Sunday to find out who visited Curtis Pritchard, Maura Higgins, Ovie Soko and India Reynolds.
It comes as fans had been wondering where another final-week Love Island tradition had gone.
As the couples go on their final dates, viewers have been complaining about the ‘lack’ of drama.
Many have been calling for the return of the lie detector test.
It’s been a week-eight staple in previous series but it won’t be going ahead this year.
ITV made the decision to scrap it following the death of a Jeremy Kyle Show contestant who had undergone a lie detector test days beforehand.
The show had already come under criticism for how it protects contestants’ mental health after the deaths of previous Islanders Mike Thalassitis and Sophie Gradon.
