The first look at the new Love Island girls arriving in the villa is here

Keeley Ryan

“It’s Love Island, not loyalty island.”

In case you haven’t heard yet, Love Island has officially returned.

The reality TV show essentially took over last summer and, if the reaction to the first two nights is anything to go by, it will be doing the same again this year.

And it looks like the villa is set to be turned upside down on tonight’s [Wednesday] episode, as there is going to be two new arrivals – and some drama for one of the existing couples.

A video promo released by ITV2 starts off with Wes and Laura cuddling in one of the outside beds, as she quizzed him about their first day in the villa.

She asked him if she hadn’t stepped forward for him, would he still have picked her – and Wes was quick to assure her he would’ve, as she “ticked every box” for him.

He continued:

“You’re saying if you didn’t step forward would I have chosen you?

“God’s honest truth, yeah I would, you’ve ticked every box. Your eyes are f***ing daft and your personality is so sweet.”

“I feel the same, I’m happy,” a delighted Laura replied.

But it looks like the happiness may not be lasting for too long.

The scene then cuts to Jack getting a text telling him and the boys to #fixuplooksharp when they host the welcome drinks for Georgia and Rosie that night.

Alex and Niall – who’ve been a bit unlucky in the villa over the last few days – are over the moon at the news.

The girls, meanwhile, are less than impressed. Especially as they have to watch everything from the balcony.

As the boys get ready for the newest Islanders to join them, Wes tells the group:

“We’re on Love Island, not loyalty island.

“We’re here to find the girl of our dreams not to stick with the girl we’ve been partnered with from the start.”

Rosie and Georgia are then seen walking into the villa and greeting the boys, as one of the girls says: “I don’t like this at all.”

Love Island returns at 9pm tonight.
