Is anyone else in dire need of a cheerful TV series?
We've found a rom-com series you're going to adore and it's the perfect show to watch ahead of the summer.
The Road Trip is adapted from Beth O'Leary's bestselling novel, and fans are in for a treat.
There are some pretty notable changes in the series with the Welsh wedding now taking place in Spain, but it's still full of as much heartache, drama, and wit.
If you've not yet read the novel, then you're in for a real treat. We follow exes Addie and Dylan, who are forced to travel to their friend's wedding together.
The synopsis reads:
'On an epic road trip to a wedding in Spain with her sister Deb, Addie nearly collides with a speeding Porsche. Forced to give her ex, Dylan, and his best friend, Marcus a lift, the gang are stuck on the most awkward road trip imaginable.'
I watched all six episodes of the mini-series in one day and couldn't recommend it more. It's an easy watch with two charming leads and a charming supporting cast.
Fans of Nobody Wants This and One Day will adore this series.
All episodes of The Road Trip are available on Paramount+ now.
