The final of the X Factor took place this weekend with some less than impressive special guests.
Matt Terry sang with with his mentor Nicole Scherzinger, Saara Aalto performed with Adam Lambert, 5 After Midnight sang with Louisa Johnson and Clean Bandit.
Boy band 5 After Midnight were voted out last night making which means they came in third place.

Sunday night saw Kylie Minogue perform her new song.

This was followed by Little Mix who sang their new song Oops with Charlie Puth.

Matt and Saara battled it out for the coveted prize. The pair each sang a final song before the results were announced. Matt sang Randy Crawford’s One Day I’ll Fly Away, while Saara sang Whitney Houston’s I Didn’t Know My Own Strength.
Ultimately fans favoured Matt and he is now the Winner of season 13 of the X Factor.
Fans were blown away by Matt’s first audition where he sang Stand By Me.
The winner’s single, When Christmas Comes Around, was written by Ed Sheeran.
