Clear the diaries everyone.

There are three mega important days you need to pencil in right now. If you adore superb food, delicious tipples and of course, all these summer vibes we’re currently experiencing – you won’t want to miss it.

From Thursday June 14 to Sunday June 17 the famed Taste of Dublin returns to the Iveagh Gardens, and it’s expected to be the most exciting year yet, showcasing the best in Irish food and drink.

Firstly, there’s the Neff Taste Kitchen. The state-of-the-art arena will house the events biggest demo we’ve seen yet as an entire host of top chefs (including Hugh Fearnley WhittingstallKevin Dundon, Rory O’Connell and Sharon Hearne-Smith) show us their amazing cooking skills while sharing a few nibbles too.

Catch a glimpse of 19 century Dublin, thanks to Roe & Co Tram 21, where you can enjoy a yummy whiskey cocktail on the rooftop, made by a World Class bartender. Very Instagramable indeed.

One spot we’re actually dying to get to is the Pink Cuisine area! The Dalkey restaurant chain  – Jaipur – is set to create dishes that take inspiration from female pioneers in India who paved the way for women’s rights – and it’s all pink! Expect Pink Gin-infused Railway Lamb (from Chakra), Pink City Chicken Tikka (from Jaipur) and a Burmese Tea Shop Samosa with rose petal plus Himalayan pink yogurt. Sounds utterly divine!

On Friday June 15, 12pm – 4pm, you’ll have a chance to head to The Connacht Gold Style Afternoon, where, if you’re feeling fancy, we’d advise you to pull out all the style stops. You’ll be able to splash on the tan and get luxury manicure here too – ideal for these sunny days if you ask us! Judges will be on the lookout for the best dressed, so do join in because the winner is bound to receive some excellent and worthwhile prizes!

For all you fine wine fanatics, O’Briens is bringing its best range of Languedoc wines to the Iveagh Gardens (hurrah!) along with Gérard Bertrand manager, Francois Pages, so be sure to book a masterclass as it’s something you most definitely don’t want to miss!

The Food Lover’s Playground is taking inspiration from a whole range of destinations, like Thailand, Spain, China, India, the Orient and more, so yes, you can expect all sort of yummy goodness. Japanese sushi, chocolate stones from Santiago de Compostela and wines from Ribeiro and Albriño from Galicia are expected to be favourites.

You can check out the full schedule here and be sure to grab your tickets ASAP! It’ll be a busy weekend food lovers.

Standard tickets start from €15, VIP tickets start from €45, family tickets start from €39 (available for Saturday and Sunday afternoon only) while the kids will cost you €12.50.
