Swoon! John Cena reveals what he does ‘everyday’ to keep his relationship going

"I find it's difficult to come across bulletproof"

John Cena is one that is not afraid of his emotions and recently, while promoting his new film BLOCKERS, he sat down with us and explained just how hard he works at keeping his relationship going under the scrutiny of the public eye. Speaking about his relationship, the 40-year-old said:

"I am very open and honest about things, you know, I know my relationship is on a public platform, I try to be open and honest about that, and I am not afraid to say I am in love and I work everyday at being in love."

The star continued that being open and honest with his fans about his relationship, helps him in turn to keep truthful and transparent about how he feels, to both them and himself. For John, this is the key to making his relationship work.

"To me that makes me confident as a man, and everyone's definition of who they are and what defines them is their own, and for me that's helped me in life so, so, much" he added.

John Cena is engaged to Nikki Bella, star of E!'s reality show "Total Bellas". The two got engaged at Wrestlemania 33 last year on April 2. And although a date has not yet been set for the two to walk down the aisle, many speculate the pair will tie the knot in early 2019. John is currently on tour promoting his new film BLOCKERS which he stars in alongside Leslie Mann and Isaac Barinholtz. The comedy flick is a rollercoaster of laughs, as overprotective parents try and stop their teenage girls from loosing their virginity on prom night however, not all is as easy as it seems.
