It looks like The Style Counselors won’t be returning to our screens this year.

RTÉ has reportedly cancelled Suzanne Jackson’s popular programme ‘The Style Counselors‘.

The beloved makeover show was a huge hit with viewers, but the broadcaster has confirmed it won’t be returning.

A source confirmed the disappointing news to

“It’s a big disappointment because so many people loved the show but the decision has been made to not renew it.”

Suzanne Jackson presented the show alongside 81-year-old Eileen Smith. The duo hosted the first two seasons together, but Suzanne flew solo in seasons three and four.

The Style Counselors followed Suzanne and Eileen as they helped people find their confidence again with the help of a new wardrobe, empowering advice, and a classic makeover.

Viewers praised the show for helping women get their confidence back and for encouraging them to love who they are.

The show ran for four seasons but has been officially cut from RTÉ’s Autumn schedule.

Suzanne has not yet commented on the news, but it is believed RTÉ is keen for her to continue her presenting career.

The insider said: “She’s been in talks with producers for other formats and she definitely would like to continue her presenting career.”
