Strictly’s Bruno Tonioli to be replaced by Fresh Prince of Bel Air star next week

Bruno Tonioli is going to be replaced on the Strictly Come Dancing judging panel by Alfonso Ribeiro.

The Fresh Prince of Bel Air actor is going to replace the long-serving judge on the panel for one week only, next weekend October 20. Ribeiro, who played Carlton Banks in the iconic show, won the American version of the show Dancing With The Stars in 2014. The Sun reports that Riberio will be filling in for just one weekend next week. A source told the publication:

“Everyone is excited to have Alfonso on the judging panel.

“He will bring great energy to show following his winning appearance on Dancing with The Stars.”

Great energy, indeed. This comes after Strictly judge Craig Revel Horwood said that Seann Walsh and partner Katya Jones would be doing a "dance of shame" this weekend following their cheating scandal. The pair were caught kissing while on a night out in London last week, leading to Walsh's girlfriend, Rebecca Humphries, eventually dumping him via Twitter. The comedian and the dancer both issued apologies in the media and were later criticised by Humphries for their actions. Strictly continues tomorrow night.
