Strictly viewers were FUMING after ‘fixed’ results but here’s what we didn’t see

Strictly Come Dancing has been the source of much tabloid discussion over the last few weeks – but probably not for the reasons they’d like. After footage of contestant Seann Walsh and partner Katya Jones kissing was posted online, fans have been quick to share their outrage at the pair’s behaviour. And that has only escalated after the couple found themselves in the bottom two on the show this weekend.

Yes, Seann and Katya were left to fight it out with DJ Vick Hope and her partner Graziano Di Prima to stay in the competition with the judges eventually deciding to keep Seann and Katya. The decision left viewers of the show fuming, saying the pair didn’t deserve to be saved over Vick and Graziano.

excuse me ??????? sorry #strictly but were the other judges watching something different? sean went wrong and was all over the place! he blatantly missed a couple steps. i’ll admit vick was probably bottom two but didn’t deserve to go this week at all!!!!

Vick Hope has since spoken out about the decision that sent her and her partner Graziano home, saying that the audience didn't see the role producers played in the decision. Speaking on the Capital Breakfast Show this morning, Vick said:

“There was a conflab with the producers and then they gave their decision. “There was this stunned silence, it was a really weird atmosphere.”

Viewing figures went through the roof after the footage of Seann and Katya was released, with audience numbers hitting a peak of 11 million.
