Steven Gerrard FINALLY shares a completely adorable snap of his son

The Gerrards have previously made no secret of the fact that after THREE girls they were hoping for a baby boy.

Now proud-as-punch dad Steven has shared a gorge pictures of his son, Lio, who arrived a little over a week ago. The footballer left the image captionless, including a simply love heart emoji instead. The newborn can be seen dressed in a white romper and is wrapped up gently in a white blanket complete with stars.

And we have to say, and while acknowledging that all babies are precious angels, little Lio is completely adorable. He was born on April 29 at 4.55am and in the aftermath, Mr Gerrard stated that his family is now "complete". Steven, 36, and Alex, 34, have been married for ten years and already had daughters Lilly-Ella, 13, Lexie, 10, and Lourdes, five. In the past, the pair have expressed their desire to have a son, with Alex admitting: "I know Steven has said before he would like one, but the chances of us having one is slim with having three girls. "He laughs and says he can't risk it - it's going to cost him a fortune in weddings if we have another girl!"
