Staying in tonight? RTÉ2 is showing one of our FAVE movies at 9:30pm

If NYE makes you want to hide under a blanket and pray for a quick pass into the New Year (I don't know what it is but I'm one of those people who just detests New Year's Eve and the ritual of counting down to a New Year), well then fear not, as the telly is looking seriously promising tonight. At 9:30pm, RTÉ2 is showing Meet The Fockers, the second installation of the hilarious movie series following Gaylord Focker (Ben Stiller) as he tries to get accepted by his wife's family. The movie sees Gaylord (Ben Stiller) go head-to-head with the father-in-law, Jack Byrnes (Robert De Niro) and it's full of action and hilarious one-liners. If you haven't seen this flick yet, it's a must. It airs on RTÉ2 tonight at 9:30pm. Aside from that, Virgin Media One is showing 50 First Dates starring Drew Barrymore and Adam Sandler at the same time. 50 First Dates is a sweet, romcom which sees Henry (Adam Sandler) setting his heart on romancing Lucy (Drew Barrymore), but she has short-term memory loss; she can't remember anything that happened the day before. So every morning, Henry has to woo her again. Her friends and family are very protective, and Henry must convince them that he's in it for love. And lastly, another laugh, at 9pm E4 is showing The Inbetweeners Movie. If you've ever watched the series then you're in for a treat as the movie is all the same laughs but for two hours non-stop. A must. The choice is yours.
