The Lucy Beale murder mystery has really narrowed down its hunt tonight – with the suspect now believed to be a Beale family member after this evening’s episode.
Despite an accusation against Abi Branning in last night’s update, it appears the teen was mistakenly accused of committing the crime. Although she admits in a bitter argument with her parents this evening she wished she had killed Lucy, fans saw Abi ruled out as a suspect in the tense ending to this evening’s drama.
Tonight’s second instalment of the semi-live shows focussed on Ian and Jane’s wedding – which witnessed some awkward tension as Jane panicked at the altar.
Jane was seen leaving the reception early, where she arranged for Masood to collect Bobby to stay the night. After reading the card from Lauren Branning, Jane is seen visibly shaken – but is she hiding a guilty conscience? Or protecting one?

After Peter chases down Lauren at a family planning clinic, his ex-girlfriend is forced to reveal the secret that has forced her to end their relationship.
Revealing the killer to Peter, Lucy’s twin then storms the family home – telling Ian, Jane and onlooker Cindy that he knows Lucy was killed in the house, by a Beale.
Fans have now voted Ian Beale as the favourite to be revealed as Lucy Beale’s killer.
