Spoiler Alert: Is This Summer Bay Resident Keeping A Dangerous Secret From His Housemates?

It looks like teen Maddy Osbourne is set to take on some investigative work in Summer Bay, as she grows increasingly suspicious of the new doctor James Edmunds as his relationship with Roo Stewart heats up. Although viewers will see Maddy desperately trying to be happy for Roo as they both prepare to move in with James, Maddy realises James is hiding something, becoming uneasy. After finding a second mobile phone hidden in a drawer, Maddy confronts James, who brushes off the find as an extra work phone before changing the subject. Despite James telling Roo that his parents will be attending their housewarming, Maddy still questions James’ intentions. Things grow even more complicated when Denny Miller reveals his past memory of James being at a university open day with a girl she assumed was his daughter but James firmly denies this. So what is he hiding? Speaking to TV Week, Kassandra Clementi who plays Maddy said: "Maddy just wants Roo to be happy and she is supportive of her relationship. "She thought it was great initially but her instinct is telling her that something is wrong. She also finds it suspicious that Roo hasn't met any of his friends or family."
