Spencer has explained Vogue’s ‘engagement ring’ snap

Ah right.

Don't go out buying a hat just yet - Spencer Matthews has cleared up the rumours that he's engaged to Vogue Williams. We all got a teeny bit excited last week when we spotted Vogue Williams with a stunning Kate Middleton-esque ring on her finger.

Spencer shared a photo of her wearing the dazzler to his Instagram account, making us all think that the Dublin model was finally making an honest man of the Made In Chelsea star. In a new interview with the Mirror, Spencer confirmed that he had bought the ring for Vogue - but that they're not engaged just yet. "I gave her a ring for Christmas early before we went to Thailand, she wears it on her right hand - and she posted a Snapchat and it flipped the photo. "We’re not engaged but we’re very much in love, we love living together - we're best pals and we’ll see what happens."

He admitted that the couple, who've both had high-profile relationships in the past, aren't afraid to be as public as they are on social media about their love. "I wouldn't say we were shy - we're not averse to a bit of attention, old Vogue and I." The pair have been together for almost a year, having met while filming Channel 4 show The Jump in 2016. Anyone who follows either of them on Instagram will know that they're head over heels in love and he's hinted before that marriage is on the horizon. "I would say that she is absolutely 'The One'. I can't see it going any other way," he said in October.
