We’ve all been there Adele.
There is nothing worse than getting to the top of a queue in a shop, handing over your card and it gets declined. Talk about embarrassing.
Unless you have cash in your purse or a friend nearby you usually just have to walk away red faced and pretend like your card is faulty.
But it seems it’s not just us that it happens to, celebrities get declined too.
Adele has opened up about a time when she was in H&M recently and her card was declined. Even though she is worth millions, for some reason it wouldn’t go through and she had to leave without the items.

She told The Mirror, “I went to H&M and my card got declined. Oh my days, pretty embarrassing.
“Nobody knew it was me, but I was mortified.”
She added, “My trip to H&M was great… but no one knew it was me so I think I’m going to get away with it.”
