Something old: Pippa’s sweet wedding tribute to big sister Kate

As our obsession with all things Pippa continues, we’ve been learning about the tribute the new bride paid to her sister, Kate, on her big day.

Pippa Middleton’s wedding sent social media, and ourselves, into a tailspin over the weekend with pictures of the guests , the page boys and that dress circulating within hours.

Well, now that the excitement has died down – sort of – we’re looking a little closer at what Pippa was wearing on her big day. We all know the saying – “something old, something new, something borrowed, something blue”. Well, it seems Pippa’s “something old” was a tribute to her big sister Kate as she decided to wear the earrings she wore to the Duchess’s wedding to Prince William back in 2011. According to People, the bride wore the pear-shaped diamond earrings designed by Robinson Pelham made especially for her for the royal wedding six years ago. Pippa also got her “something new” from the jewellery designer, in the form of her diamond art deco inspired engagement ring and simple gold wedding band.
