This is hilarious.
Rate my teacher websites all seem like fun and games until you realise teachers have access to the internet and can see everything you write.
But Friend’s fans will be delighted to see that someone has set up a Rate My Professor page for Ross Geller.
As we all know, Ross lectures in Paleontology and the website lists him as working in New York University in that department.
What’s great about Friends fans is that they are devoted. Even twelve years after the show finished, people are still rating this page and adding comments full of all our favourite references.
Some people commented on his unusual accent.
”He’s a good prof, tests are hard unless you study fairly well. The only thing was his accent was really hard to understand at first, but after I missed a few classes from the flu, his accent was way less pronounced!! Also he kinda seems to pick favourites in the class.” One ‘student’ said.
”Faked an accent as some sort of social experiment? Talked about eel for half a lecture, and apparently turned his ex wife into a lesbian. Hard marker, kind of whiny, but not the worst.” Another added.
Some listed the importances of Unagi.
”He really likes his dinosaurs so much that he thinks he created Jurassic Park. He likes to speak in accents so if he breaks out into a British accent, don’t be alarmed, just remember Unagi or you can just Pivot. Also sometimes you will see his friends but don’t worry they were on a break.”
”He has this method of solving derivatives that only he uses. He calls it Unagi, but I don’t think it works”
”You will do fine as long as you have Unagi.”
Others listed some interesting observations about his personal life.
”My Dad Paul Stevens didn’t like him very much…”
”Mr Geller was a nice teacher but i did hear rumours about him having an affair with a student of his. He also had come to class in rollerskates and even passed out once. He is very laid back with some stuff but can be known to get heavily stressed when he is upset or no one is listening. He is very unconventional and his friends come to class.”
”Decent professor but always pivots the conversation to his personal life and multiple ex’s (don’t take relationship advice from this guy). Anytime he starts lecturing early from a break as a class we yell out “WE WERE ON A BREAK” and that seems to get him very flustered.”
Oh Friends fans, please be this enthusiastic forever.
