2016 has to be the year of the reboots. Full House got a revival, so did The X-Files and we're not far away from the Gilmore Girls reboot. Not only that but we're getting some brilliant movie revivals too, including Independence Day and next year brings back Jumanji.
Sometimes you just wish they would leave the fond memories we had of the show in the past. For Fuller House, they weren't able to convince the Olsen Twins to take part so they continued without them. It's never quite the same though, you need everyone back together to make it just as good.
But with all this talk of reboots there are definitely some other shows that have either been overlooked or forgotten. Prepare to take a trip down memory lane.
Here are a few shows that we would love to see making a comeback.
Round The Twist
Remember this show that was set in Australia where a family lived in a magical lighthouse and used to get up to all kinds of bizarre magical adventures. It was brilliantly bizarre.

It probably wouldn't be too hard to get the old Sharky and George gang back together, you wouldn't even need the same voice actors. Young kids would love to follow the adventures of the underwater detectives.

Wonder what the squad from Hang Time would be up to now if they did a reboot of the show. The show lasted five years from 1995 and provided great afternoon entertainment.

Before the Sprouse or Olsen twins we used to follow the events of the Wakefield sisters in Sweet Valley High. This originally began as a book series and then made its way onto our TV screens from 1994 to 1998.

Everyone has to be familiar with Sister Sister, which ran from 1994 to 1999 and followed the lives of Tia and Tamera. If a reboot were to happen would Roger ever go home?
Video via YouTube/HayaiNinjaAre You Afraid Of The DarkAre You Afraid Of The Dark was the stuff of nightmares for a 7-year-old child back in the nineties. Even the intro to the show was freaky. It ran for six years from 1990. It did get a one-year revival back in 1999, but it was four years after the original series ended so that doesn't really count.
It could definitely be brought back as a horror series for adults or even just a toned down version for the kids.
