Congratulations are in order for Serena Williams – she’s now a married woman!
The athlete married her partner Alexis Ohanian at a ceremony in New Orleans last night.
Serena’s celeb friends, including Beyoncé, Eva Longoria, Kelly Rowland and Ciara all made the trip to the Louisiana city to attend.

Kim Kardashian also jetted in to see Serena walk down the aisle after travelling via private jet with sister Khloe and friends Malika and Khadijah Haqq.

The star-studded ceremony, which took place at the Contemporary Arts Centre was rumoured to be Beauty and the Beast-themed.
We’re dying to see what the bride wore but as of this morning there are no photos of her or her new husband from the event.
Serena and tech entrepreneur Alexis, who co-founded website Reddit, became engaged last year after a year together. She announced the engagement on the site with a sweet poem.
“I came home/ A little late/ Someone had a bag packed for me/ And a carriage awaited/ Destination: Rome/ To escort me to my very own ‘charming’/ Back to where our stars first collided/ And now it was full circle/ At the same table we first met by chance/ This time he made it not by chance/ But by choice/ Down on one knee/ He said 4 words/ And I said yes.”
The couple welcomed their first child 11 weeks ago, a little girl they called Alexis Olympia.

Its been a busy week for Serena – the wedding was just days after her first red carpet appearance since becoming a mum.
She attended the Glamour Women of the Year awards in New York City on Monday and it’s fair to say motherhood definitely suits her.
