Salem from the new Sabrina just walked the red carpet, and it was iconic

As we all know, Sabrina The Teenage Witch has been remade, and we're excited about it. The lovely Kiernan Shipka will play the iconic blonde witch in the new series, called The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina. Netflix's new series is due to start streaming on October 26th, with the premiere being held last week. And while there was a host of stars in attendance, it was Salem that really stole the show. Yep, the black cat that plays Salem Saberhagen attended the show's premiere, and even walked the red carpet. ICONIC.

We admit that we were a little disappointed to learn that a real cat had been cast to play Salem, but he's very cute. This means that there will be no talking, wise-cracking cat - which is sad, but sure look. Pictures of Salem strutting his stuff on the red carpet have been shared online, and the Internet approves. He even managed to pose for pictures, which is pretty impressive considering he's a cat. According to Vulture, five black cats in total have shared the role of Salem for the purpose of the new show. We can't WAIT to watch this!
