Will Smith was lined up to feature in the live action version of Dumbo. Other big names such as Danny DeVito are also said to be starring in the movie.
It was all going according to plan until Will suddenly pulled out last month. There was no clear reason why at the time, but it was suggested that it had something to do with salary and scheduling.
Now it turns out it was just about the money. Apparently, Will pulled out because they wouldn’t pay him enough.
According to OK! Magazine, he wanted $20million for his role in the movie, which wasn’t even a huge part.
Bare in mind that Emma Watson got paid $3million for her role in Beauty and the Beast and she was the main star.
