The reason Chrissy Teigen decided to quit Snapchat over the weekend

The expectant-mum has quit the platform.

Chrissy Teigen decided to leave Snapchat over the weekend and told fans that she is no longer using the platform. The model shared the update with followers on Twitter, saying that she would no longer be using the app because of the negativity and some of the content she’s seen on there. “I stopped using snap,” read Chrissy’s tweet. “The update, the constant complaints of people not being able to find me, plus the Rihanna poll… no bueno.”

Chrissy is referring to a Snapchat poll which asked followers if they’d rather “slap Rihanna or punch Chris Brown”. The star’s departure from the app is sure to hit them financially like it did previously with Kylie Jenner. When the youngest Jenner shared her dislike for the new layout back in February, the stock dropped by $1.3 billion. Rihanna, herself, responded to the shocking poll last week on Instagram, telling Snapchat “you let us down”. "I'd love to call it ignorance but I know you ain't that dumb,” she wrote on Instagram. "You spent money to animate something that would intentionally bring shame to DV [domestic violence] victims and made a joke of it!!! “This isn’t about my personal feelings... but all the women, children and men that have been victims of DV in the past and especially the ones who haven’t made it out yet... You let us down!"
