In what may be the biggest anti-climax of all time in Irish TV history, Ray D’arcy gave a lad called Norman the biggest welcome of all time last night.
On last night’s Ray D’Arcy show, Norman was introduced (to uproarious applause) as a “Hollywood legend” who has played “iconic roles” in movies such as One Flew Over the Cuckoos Nest and The Shining.
However, it all turned out to be a really weird lie.
In fact, Norman Deasing is just someone who is on holidays here and happens to look like Jack Nicholson.
We’ve never seen Ray’s head so shiny with embarrassment as he nervously laughed “it wasn’t my idea”.
