Rachel Bilson is up for bringing back The O.C.

What self-respecting teen or tween in the Noughties wasn't obsessed with The O.C.? We all wanted to be Marissa, fancied the pants off broody Ryan, rooted hard for Seth and Summer and just generally lusted after their hazy, dramatic, painfully cool lifestyle. If you watched it religiously on TG4 back in the day, you might be excited to hear that Rachel Bilson, AKA Summer Roberts, is up for re-booting the show.

"I'm always open to things," she told E! News. "I don't know what it would look like with our characters being old now. We were riding skateboards on the pier; I don't know what they do now as 30-year-olds. But it would be nice to see everybody again."

As for what Summer, Seth and the gang would be up to now?

"People always ask me that and I'm like, 'What was she doing when we ended?'" "I can't even remember; it was so long ago. I'm sure she has kids with Seth. I don't know! She's on the beach."

Telly bosses, Summer has spoken, and as we know she's a girl who gets what she wants, so can someone please go about getting The O.C. back on our screens ASAP?
