Carl Kinsella

Fans of the Fab Five rejoice.

Netflix’s sensational unscripted show Queer Eye will return to the platform for its fourth season on 19 July.

Not only that, but Bobby, Karamo, Jonathan, Antoni and Tan will be back for the fifth season too. The show, which is based on Queer Eye for the Straight Guy (2003-2007) has only been around since 2018, but has already swept up Emmys as well as widespread popular acclaim.

Season 4 will see the gang return to Kansas City, while Season 5 will be set in the Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. According to Variety, production on Season 5 will begin next week and will come to the streaming giant in 2020.

Queer Eye‘s first three seasons currently hold a 91 percent rating on Rotten Tomatoes.

The show is an holistic approach to the traditional makeover format, with the five helpful queer men showing up in someone’s life for a week and helping them achieve who they want to be. The feel-good show often features tutorials that extol the importance of looking after your hygiene, your self-esteem, your mental health and your physical well-being.

The show’s Fab Five consists of five makeover experts: Antoni Porowski (Food & Wine), Bobby Berk (Interior Design), Jonathan Van Ness (Grooming), Karamo Brown (Culture), and Tan France (Fashion).

The first three seasons of the show are currently available to watch on Netflix.
