Anyway, it appears as if this whole people like Mrs Brown's Boys thing goes all the way to the top because apparently Her Majesty The Queen is even into it.
Series creator Brendan Carroll told TV Times that he was "speechless" upon discovering that members of the actual royal family loved a bit of a Agnes.
"One of the few to get a preview copy is Buckingham Palace," he said. "I was speechless a couple of years ago when our producer first told me that they wanted an advance copy."
As it turns out though, perhaps good ol' Brendan shouldn't have been all that surprised considering the show is literally the most watched programme of the Christmas period.
This year, as always, audiences will be treated not one but two episodes of Mrs Brown's Boys.
According to the BBC, It's A Wonderful Mammy will see Agnes meet an angle who attempts to show her just how awful life would have been if she had never been born.
As well as that, there'll also be Orange is the New Mammy - a New Year special seeing Peggy Piper the Pernod poisoner out on appeal, as well as Buster and Dermot getting up to some hi-jinx.
Lots to look forward to, clearly.
