Do you think your Mam would be right for this?
An Irish production company, MK1 Productions, are looking to cast an Irish Mammy in one of their upcoming TV projects. They’ll be working with the hugely talented producers behind the hit movie The Young Offenders.
For their new TV drama they’re looking for a Cork Mammy and also a Cork girl. The Mammy must be in her mid-60s, while the girl has to be between 6-8 years of age.
They say that the characters must have a ‘brilliant sense of humour and a genuine Cork accent’ and must be available to film for 2 or 3 days at the end of April.
If you know someone that fits the bill then they’ll have to apply by sending in a clip to MK1 Productions. For the clip they’ve said:
“Record a clip in your natural environment, introducing yourself and chatting to camera as if you were speaking to your children/partner/grandmother on skype. Or tell us a funny story or whatever portrays your personality.”
