Pretty Little Liars spinoff The Perfectionists cancelled after one season

Pretty Little Liars spinoff The Perfectionists has been cancelled after one season.

The series starred Sasha Pieterse and Janel Parrish, who reprised their roles as Alison DiLaurentis and Mona Vanderwaal. But rather than returning to Rosewood, the series will be taking place in the town of Beacon Heights – which ended up being just as dramatic.

The pair got drawn into a brand new mystery, thanks to new additions in the Pretty Little Liars world: Sofia Caron’s fashion designer Ava; Sydney Park’s future politician Caitlin; Eli Brown’s talented cellist Dylan; and Hayley Erin’s presumed-dead Taylor.

And alongside to the main mystery of the season – who killed Nolan Hotchkiss? – the finale of the Pretty Little Liars spinoff  introduced a brand new puzzle.

Someone using the name The Professor knew that Taylor shot Caitlin’s boyfriend – and they were already using the group’s greatest fears against them. So, basically, it would be their own version of A.
