Well, well, well.

You'd think he'd want a break from women after the year he had but it looks like Coronation Street's Aidan Connor isn't done just yet. New photos from the soap's set published by Metro appear to show the character, played by Shayne Ward, and Rosie Webster (Helen Flanagan) getting cosy as part of a new storyline. The actors were spotted filming scenes at a fancy restaurant, fuelling speculation that Rosie could be the next woman in Aidan's life.

Aidan is still coming to terms with his split from fiancé Eva Price (Catherine Tyldesley), whom he was caught cheating on with Maria Connor last year. Eva's not quite finished with Aidan, though, given that she's pregnant with his child. Eva decides not to tell her ex and to end the pregnancy but Toyah, whose surrogate has just miscarried her and Peter Barlow's baby, follows her to the abortion clinic and begs her not to. It's not clear what this means for Aidan and Rosie's potential romance but we don't know how far an Aidan/Rosie/Eva storyline could even go as each of the actors is set to leave Corrie this year. Helen Flanagan, who's expecting her second child, will be taking maternity leave at some stage in 2018, while both Shayne and Catherine Tyldesley are exiting the soap. Whatever happens, it looks like it'll be an interesting few months.
