*Spoilers galore*
It looks like Corrie villain Pat Phelan won’t be changing his ways any time soon.
Following Anna Windass’ wrongful conviction for pushing Seb Franklin off a ladder this week, Phelan’s next step in his plot to get at Gary Windass will see him use Bethany Platt.
Bethany has taken up work at Tassles, a strip club, and Phelan knows how badly this sits with Gary.
In an attempt to wind him up, Phelan suggests that he and Gary pay a visit to Tassles to get a lap dance from Bethany.
The dig has the desired effect and Gary flips out and pins Phelan to the wall. We don’t yet know what Phelan’s next move will be but we can’t wait to see what happens – we’re hoping his downfall is just around the corner.
Meanwhile, it’s reported that a number of Coronation Street‘s cast members are unhappy with the dark direction the soap has taken.
One of the actors told the Sun that many feel recent storylines have been too violent.
“Many of the young ones love the gritty stuff. I suppose they can see awards,” the actor said.
“But it wasn’t violence that made it great. Many in the cast fear it could go too dark.”
UK regulator Offcom received over 600 complaints about the scene earlier this month where Phelan brutally murdered Luke Britton.
