Sad times.
There was a lot of shock when Benjamina Ebuehi was eliminated from The Great British Bake Off. She was competing for a place in the semi finals and failed to impress the judges enough to see her go through.
It was a tough week in the Bake Off tent with a brand new theme, The Tudors. The contestants had to make pies, jumbles (which are a type of biscuit) and a show-stopping marzipan creation.
For the pie round Benjamina came in second last place. She also failed to win over the judges for the technical challenge but it was her showstopper which left them least impressed. She made a marzipan maze but was told that it wasn’t cooked enough and should have all been joined together.
It was a close race between herself and Selasi but in the end he managed to get the place in the semi final.
Benjamina was such a bubbly happy contestant with heaps of talent that it’s left people very upset and angry that she left.
Anyone else in tears? Farewell sweet Benjamina.

Although people will miss her for her personality and creations there is one other reason for the upset. It was her chemistry with fellow contestant Selasi.
