People are only just copping on that Sex Education’s lead was a major child star

If you've watched Sex Education on Netflix, you'll know that there's a lot to keep up with. The show, about a teenage boy who offers sex and relationship advice to his schoolmates for cash, follows multiple characters as they work out what they're in to, who they're in to and how to go about doing bits both with themselves and others. In the midst of it all, you might have copped that Asa Butterfield, who plays adolescent sex guru Otis Millburn, looks pretty familiar. That's probably because he had a big film role as a child, portraying the lead in concentration camp drama The Boy In The Striped Pyjamas. Yep - Asa's big break was playing Bruno in the film. He landed the role as a ten-year-old and earned acclaim for his acting skills. Netflix viewers have been making the connection as they watch Sex Education and it's fair to say the realisation has a lot of people shook.
