Harry Potter fans will LOVE this.

Warner Brothers has released some new posters for their movie Fantastic Beasts and Where To Find Them. As we all know by now, surely, the movie is set in 1926, a long time before Harry was on the scene, and opens with the main character Newt (Eddie Redmayne) landing in New York. Newt has spent time collecting and studying magical creatures and while he is in the Big Apple he accidentally loses some of them.

Up until last week, that’s all that the trailers had given away but then we got to see more from the movie in a new trailer, including Colin Farrell’s character Percival who goes in search of Newt’s missing magical creatures.

Even still we don’t know much about Percival Graves apart from the fact that he’s an auror and the Director of Magical Security at MACUSA, making him one of its highest-ranking and most respected officials.

But now fans are going crazy over the poster for the character because of one specific thing.

Spot anything?

Fans of Harry Potter should have noticed the symbol for the Deathly Hallows hanging from a chain beside Percival. It’s for this reason that fans are going mad.

What does it mean? Is he a descendent of the Deathly Hallows? Is he one of the brothers? WHAT IS GOING ON?

Okay, let’s look into it for a minute. The Deathly Hallows were made up of three brothers’s possessions. Antioch Peverell had the Elder Wand, Cadmus Peverell had the Resurrection Stone and Ignotus Peverell had the Cloak of Invisibility.

It was said that if any one person had all three items they would be invincible.

There is a clear line of ownership of the items and Percival’s name doens’t feature on the list.

We haven’t a clue what it means but it’s gotten us even more excited about the movie.

We’ll just have to wait and see what it means.
