Patricia Arquette won the award for Best Supporting Actress at this year’s Oscars but she took the opportunity to make a point.
After thanking her nearest and dearest the Boyhood star called for wage equality for women, exclaiming “it’s our time.”
Her words were met with applause from the rest of Hollywood. In fact, Meryl Streep’s reaction is almost as good as the speech itself.
