You can’t deny it; Love Island‘s India fairly landed on her feet when she walked into that villa.
The model was a late arrival but has made the most of her short time on the show by coupling up with Ovie, to the envy of millions of viewers.
The two make a great pair – but tonight Ovie admits that he wasn’t sure romance was on the cards for him at all.
With the final nearing they enjoy their final date in a candlelit courtyard during the episode.
Wearing a stunning fedora, Ovie tells India he was worried he wouldn’t find love before he met her.
“At one point, it looked like I wasn’t going to be in a romantic couple at all,” he admits.
“I felt like I just had the role of the guardian angel over Amber.”
His first encounter with India changed all that, he continues.
“When I walked into that date, you stood out to me so clear.
“It really changed the whole experience for me. It’s brightened up my days.
“I would say this is a hell of a start to something.”
Bless this man.
For her part, India says meeting Ovie has made her time on the show.
“I’m so glad you’ve been in the villa the whole time,” she tells him.
“It’s been an amazing experience but it wouldn’t have been half as good if you hadn’t been there.
“I came in to meet someone but I didn’t expect to meet someone and get on with them and like them as much as I like you.”
Tonight’s episode will also see Greg and Amber and Curtis and Maura go on their last dates.
Love Island continues on Virgin Media Two tonight at 9pm.
