Simon Cowell left Amanda Holden speechless this week when he phoned her up to tell her she was sacked from Britain’s Got Talent.
The X Factor judge pulled off the prank as part of a radio skit with Nick Grimshaw, but Amanda, however, was not very impressed.
Simon played a mean prank on Amanda.
“I did wind Amanda up on the show. I told her she was being replaced for three days a week by Cheryl on the live shows because she is younger and knows more about music,” he explained.
Amanda fell for the prank stating: “No she’s bloody not replacing me!”
Cheryl is a judge on ‘The X Factor’.
Later, she admitted that she finally saw the funny side but added: “I have to say, I felt really bitter about Cheryl.
“And she doesn’t know anything about it!
