After the huge disappointment of Stephanie Roche not bagging the FIFA Puskas award at Monday night’s awards in Zurich, we were looking for something to cheer us up.
Indeed, there were a lot of moments from the night that will certainly stand out and we all have a lot of favourite moments here at Her Towers…
From Messi’s suit, Ronaldo and his mammy (and the cutie of a son) to Stephanie and that picture, there are almost too many highlights to pick.
However, one of our favourites has to be when an RTÉ presenter was caught off guard during the news coverage of the event.
The report was coming live from Stephanie’s hometown of Shankill in Dublin where hundreds of people were gathered to cheer on their local star.
However, she wasn’t quite ready when Eamon Horan in studio called on her.
This hilarious footage was caught on camera by KC of Red FM, whose daughter can be heard in the background.
