One of the pro Strictly Dancers has confirmed he has been axed from the show

Brendan Cole, one of the most popular pro dancers on Strictly Come Dancing, has confirmed that he has been axed from the show.

He appeared on the Lorraine show this morning to break the news himself, saying that it was an 'editorial decision' to cut him from the show. Brendan has been in the show since 2004 and has always been a favourite with fans at home. Speaking to Lorraine, he said, "It’s quite hard to talk about, the BBC haven’t renewed my contract. They’ve made an editorial decision not to have me back on the show." The New Zealand born dancer has been on the road for his own dance show and only recently appeared on the Dancing with the Stars here in Ireland. We're looking forward to seeing where his career takes him.
