One of our favourite noughties popstars is in talks for CBB

She's surely too big for CBB?

They were the biggest girl band of the decade, but have slipped off our radar in recent years.

Who wasn’t a Girls Aloud fan in the noughties? If you didn’t bop to Love Machine or The Promise in your bedroom, you were seriously missing out.

Since they called it a day in 2013, we haven’t heard much from the group’s members (bar Cheryl), but that could be about to change.

Sarah Harding is said to be in talks for this year’s Celebrity Big Brother.

According to Metro, she’s been offered a large sum of money to take part and is keen to sign up for the Channel 5 show.

She’s said to be worried, however, after it was recently revealed that she had an affair with actor Danny Dyer (Eastender’s Mick Carter) back in 2012, despite him having a long-term partner Joanne Mas.

“Sarah is fully on board. But she is not sure if she feels ready,” a source said.

“She has been enjoying a career out of the spotlight recently and is not sure she wants to give up her low-key presence just yet, especially as she just hit the headlines in a major way.”

We have to say that we’d love to see Sarah on our tellies, regardless of recent gossip, but we do have one question; isn’t she too big for CBB?

Girls Aloud had 21 top-ten singles and were the biggest-selling UK girl band of the 20th century, according to Billboard. With Stephen Bear and TOWIE’s Bobby Norris also rumoured to be taking part, our Sarah’s surely above the show.

We’ll just have to wait and see – Celebrity Big Brother is set to return to screens later this summer.
