One of our favourite Graham Norton guests returns to the red couch tonight

Look, we know that we're in the middle of a pretty serious heatwave that's due to finish up before the weekend is out so there probably aren't too many of us planning on a night in. But if you can't (or don't want to) go out, you're in for a treat as Graham Norton has a decent lineup on his show tonight. Joining him will be one of our favourite ever Graham guests, Benedict Cumberbatch. He'll be there ahead of the release of new film Avengers: Infinity War. Also due to appear is Matt Le Blanc. He'll be chatting about the fifth series of his show Episodes. Maxine Peake, who you might remember from Shameless and Black Mirror, will join Graham and co. to talk about her film Funny Cow. Rounding out this week's rather packed couch will be Mary Berry and Claudia Winkleman, who'll be talking about their new show, Britain’s Best Cook. There'll be music from Calvin Harris and Dua Lipa, who'll perform their new track One Kiss. Meanwhile, The Late Late Show is a country music special tonight in honour of Big Tom. Daniel O'Donell, Nathan Carter, Susan McCann, Paddy Cole and Fr Brian D'Arcy will be joining Ryan Tubridy to pay tribute to the singer, who passed away earlier this week, aged 81.

"This week, more than any, we have seen how the country scene in Ireland is part of the fabric of who we are," said Ryan Tubridy this week.

"It is only fitting that we should pay tribute to Big Tom.

"As one of the best loved singers in Ireland, he paved the way for a lot of today’s biggest performers. We’ll be hearing from some of those who knew him best and celebrating the popularity of the music that he loved so much."
