Another day, another TV reboot.
Every day there seems to be a new TV show or movie reboot. Between Gilmore Girls, Full House, Power Rangers, Baywatch and Will and Grace there is no shortage of old shows being relaunched.
Some we cannot wait for, others we hope won’t ruin any memories we have.
The latest reboot to be announced is not one we expected but we’re very intrigued. That’s so Raven has been confirmed to return in a new show. The comedy show, which originally ran from 2003 to 2007, will make a comeback later this year.
But while Raven-Symoné and Anneliese van der Pol will be back in their roles as Raven and Chelsea, the show will feature a very different storyline. We’ll catch up with the best friends who are both now divorced and live together with their children.
According to CNN the show released the following statement on the storyline:
“When one of Raven’s kids begins to show signs that they have inherited her trait of catching glimpses of the future, the already hectic household gets turned upside down, keeping even Raven on her toes.”
Speaking about the reboot, Gary Marsh, of Disney said:
“There is only one Raven — and for over 25 years, she has blessed audiences around the world with the greatest gift of all — the pure, unadulterated joy of laugh-out-loud funny. After being a part of over 20 different Disney projects, we are thrilled to be bringing Raven home to Disney Channel once again.”
