Official: The Kissing Booth is getting a SEQUEL, and we’re so freakin’ excited

We're SO happy!

The Kissing Booth is one of Netflix’s most streamed movies, and we loved every second of it!

And it has FINALLY been granted a sequel.

The film follows two BFF’s Elle and Lee go through the trials and tribulations of friendship.

Then, amazingly, Elle falls in love with Lee’s older brother  - all very juicy!

Netflix officially announced the sequel on their Instagram yesterday, and we literally cannot WAIT to watch it! Joey King, who played the female lead in The Kissing Booth, also shared the news. In all caps, because she's as excited as we are. "YUP!!! WE ARE GETTING A SEQUEL!!!" she tweeted, with a video promo of the new film.

Oh and fun fact, while we're here... Joey is currently dating her The Kissing Booth co-star, Jacob Elordi - because true love exists. No release date for the sequel yet, but we'll keep you informed.
