The cast will be a mix of old and new, and it looks fairly unlikely that Steve Carrell, who played the boss of the Dunder Mifflin’s Scranton, PA. branch for seven of the show's nine seasons to date, will return. Additionally, John Krasinski is currently working with Amazon Studios for their new Jack Ryan series, so he too seems an unlikely returning cast member.
NBC had intended on Rainn Wilson's character Dwight Schrute to get his own spin-off show, following the "backdoor pilot" episode 'The Farm', which took place in The Office's ninth season, but following the bad reviews that the episode received, NBC decided not to pick the show up.
However, considering that Dwight actually owns the Dunder Mifflin’s Scranton branch building, don't be surprised to see him back in the mix pretty heavily.
