Netflix’s Locke & Key is getting a second series.
Locke & Key is the streaming site’s adaptation of the horror/fantasy hybrid which was originally brought to life in comic form by Joe Hill and Gabriel Rodriguez.
Essential, the TV show is a family drama about dealing with loss, growing up, fitting in, – oh, and what to do when you find out there’s a demon at the bottom of the well on your family’s estate.
Speaking about the renewal news, show developers Carlton Cuse and Meredith Averill, said:
“We are thrilled to be continuing the journey of Locke & Keyalongside all of our amazing collaborators. We are grateful to Netflix for all their support, especially at this difficult time, and look forward to bringing you the exciting next chapter of our story”.
If you’re not yet familiar with the show, Locke & Key balances the magical and mysterious plots while tackling some real-life issues – including peer pressure and high school love triangles.
Since some of the adults are unable to experience magic, a lot of the series focuses on the Locke siblings and their pals as they try to get to the bottom of what’s going on – and thankfully, they all deliver.
